The news from New Orleans is getting worse, not
better, and the mayor said this afternoon that there
probably have been thousands of fatalities in the
city and that the city probably won't be functioning
for two or three months.

Resource Investor's Tim Wood reports without comment
that the ratio between the price of oil and the price
of gold has reached a record extreme, suggesting that
gold is underpriced. Wood's report has a lot of nice
charts with it but fails to draw the obvious conclusion:
Central banks are aggressively suppressing the gold
