Today's close in gold was darn near that $423 number
that I told you was the bullish line of defense. Let's
face it: $422.70 is so close that to call it a miss is
a little on the harsh side.

appended here, last week some U.S. senators renewed
efforts to subject OPEC, the international oil cartel,
to U.S. antitrust law, and thereby attempt to break
up the cartel and reduce oil prices.

legislation's intent, apart from any impracticality in

Today was a battle royale between the new gold bulls
and the old gold bears as 95 percent of the comatose
gold community sat on the sidelines cheering and
