Gold market timers are turning bullish

The annual spring meeting of the Committee for Monetary
Research and Education Inc. will be held in New York on
Wednesday, April 3, and feature a presentation by GATA's
consultant James Turk, editor of the Freemarket Gold and
Money Report and founder of Goldmoney.com.

Turk's topic will be: quot;Opening the U.S. Treasury Books:
Where's the Gold?quot;

The meeting's theme will be quot;Roiled Currencies, Banking,
and the Books of 2002 -- Consequences for the Markets.quot;
Its other distinguished speakers will include:

* R. Christoper Whalen, senior vice president of Detwiler
amp; Co. and a contributor to Barron's.

* Dr. Walter Molano, partner and head of economic
research for BCP Securities.

* Dr. Alejandro Antonio Chafuen, president of the Atlas
Economic Research Foundation.

* Dr. Walker F. Todd, former counsel to the Federal
Reserve Bank of Cleveland.

* Dr. Bernd Fischer, an economics official for the
German embassy in Washington.

* Dr. Leonard Liggio, executive vice president of the
Atlas Economic Research Foundation and a law professor.

* Richard L. Hanley, general partner of Hambletonian
Partners LP.

* Dr. Abraham L. Briloff of A.J. and L.A. Briloff, CPAs.

The CMRE's meeting will be held, as usual, at the lovely
Union Club at 101 East 69th St., New York. Cocktails
will be served at 5 p.m. The first program will begin at
5:30. Dinner will be served from 6:45 from 7:45, and then
the second program will begin.
