Zero Hedge's pseudonymous Tyler Durden nails the "fundamental flaw" in the Federal Reserve's thinking. That is, the Fed's buying government bonds to reduce interest rates and encourage investment and risk taking in the real economy fails because investors front-run the Fed, putting their money not into the real economy but rather into the very assets the Fed has given indication of buying.
