Dear Friend of GATA and Gold:

GATA's publicist in South Africa, Rhoda Fowler of
Media-Link in Durban, has done a marvelous job
advancing our cause there. I thought you might like
to see her latest report:

Dear Bill:

We have had a call from President Mbeki's office saying
that they wish to be kept informed.

Also, we had a call from Joe Molefe, who is a top black
businessman. He has offered his services to do lobbying
within the political and mining communities in Africa. I will
send you a brief CV on him. He is a very influential man,
and this is a great coup.

Regards,

Rhoda

In addition, I just got off the phone with Bob Hagerty,
London bureau chief of The Wall Street Journal, regarding
the paper's recent story involving GATA and my letter to
Ms. Haruko Fukuda, CEO of the World Gold Council. He
said he would look into it.
