News from GATA Chairman Bill Murphy at the Indaba
2001 mining conference in Cape Town....
-- He has an appointment with South Africa's mining
minister.
-- He will be interviewed on a South African
Broadcasting Co. national radio program Thursday.
-- He had a good meeting with top officials of
Harmony Gold.
-- Gold Fields has posted at its Internet site the
GATA advertisement published today in South Africa's
business daily newspaper, Business Day.
Offers of support are coming in from South Africa as
word of GATA spreads there. We're very grateful and
will be responding to people as quickly as we can.
