BEIJING -- China is considering gradually increasing the nation's gold reserves, the 21st Century Business Herald reported today, citing an unidentified consultant to the government.

How many dollars are circulating for every ounce of gold held by the United States? Assuming that the U.S. gold reserve has the gold it claims to have, at King World News they calculate that the gold/dollar ratio is 1 ounce to almost $54,000. You can find it here:
