Dear Friend of GATA and Gold:

Silver market analyst Ted Butler examines the recent spikes down in gold and silver in the context of the commitment of traders reports on the commodities exchanges. He concludes again that speculation on those exchanges and not the real physical market for the metals is setting the daily price, that this is manipulation and against commodity trading law, and that people who understand the manipulation will do much better in these markets than those who don't.
