GATA consultant Kirby interviewed on Barrick, MorganChase

Financial journalist Max Keiser, host of the "On the Edge" program on Iran's PressTV network, today interviewed GATA consultant Rob Kirby of Kirby Analytics in Toronto about Barrick Gold's short position in gold and JPMorganChase's interest rate derivatives. Kirby said that that Barrick will be able to cover only a third of its short position with the proceeds of the stock offering the company announced this week. As for MorganChase, Kirby explained that the bank's interest rate derivatives are the mechanisms which with the Federal Reserve controls interest rates.
