Maybe the best blow yet against gold suppression scheme

Dear Friend of GATA and Gold:

GATA's expedition to London ends in a few hours and while, unfortunately, we have seen the sights of this most beautiful city only through taxicab windows as we hustled from one appointment to another, your secretary/treasurer suspects that during our visit here we have struck our best blow yet against the gold price suppression scheme.

We met with reporters or editors from seven major news organizations, with representatives of trade organizations, and, at our reception at Fleming Family & Partners, with 80 people from investment houses, mining companies, and prominent positions in the city. A couple of the news organizations we met with seemed to be granting us time only grudgingly, but others were very interested in what we had to say and the voluminous evidence we presented, one of them surprisingly so. We're confident that something will develop from this.

We made some friends who already have undertaken to help us in various ways, including financially. We hope, and think, that we have done right by our hosts. We also hope that we will see them again soon, and a lot more of their city, during what we long have imagined as the worldwide GATA victory tour.

Thanks to all our friends who helped get us here and to all our new friends who send us home with encouragement to press on with our work.

CHRIS POWELL, Secretary/Treasurer
Gold Anti-Trust Action Committee Inc.
