Ron Paul: Let's legalize competing currencies

Dear Friend of GATA and Gold:
U.S. Rep. Ron Paul on Wednesday addressed the House of Representatives on the need for the United States to legalize private domestic currencies to compete with the government's own currency, the dollar. This may happen when Paul is elected president, or, failing that, when pigs fly. Nevertheless, Paul's points are well-taken by those who believe in limited government.
