Registration is open for GATA's Washington conference
9:47p ET Monday, January 14, 2008
Dear Friend of GATA and Gold:
Registration is now open for GATA's next conference -- "GATA Goes to Washington: Anybody Seen Our Gold?" -- to be held just across the Potomac River at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City hotel and conference center in Arlington, Virginia, from Thursday through Saturday, April 17-19.
Speakers will include many of those who made GATA's Gold Rush 21 conference in the Yukon in 2005 a turning point in the gold war. Other speakers who have committed to attend will bring new perspectives to that war -- and we hope to be adding still more speakers over the next few weeks.
Admission to the conference will cost US$599, which will cover not only the conference itself but also a reception, a dinner, two lunches, and maybe a couple of breakfasts as well, if anyone really can get up that early.
Everything about the conference -- including a registration form, credit-card payment mechanism (checks are OK too), and hotel reservation information -- can be found at the GATA Internet site here:
http://www.gata.org/washington
Don't wait too long to register and to send your registration fee to confirm your credential. For our conference facility can accommodate only about 250 people, and the FBI alone may send 75 agents looking for what they seem to consider weapons of mass destruction -- Liberty Dollars. (Don't worry -- we'll do better than the FBI's wiretap vendors did recently; we'll be sure to get the FBI's cash up front.)
We hope to see many of our friends in Washington and to make this conference another advance in the gold war -- and maybe even to strike the decisive blow.
CHRIS POWELL, Secretary/Treasurer
Gold Anti-Trust Action Committee Inc.
