Thomas Tan: Central banks and gold -- manipulation or money management?

Dear Friend of GATA and Gold:

In an essay posted today at Seeking Alpha, market analyst Thomas Tan acknowledges that central banks have motive to suppress the price of gold, even as he's not sure that it is as much their motive as GATA thinks it is. But Tan says he's glad that GATA is around to press the issue, so the least we can do is be glad that he's around to acknowledge it.
