Silver market analyst Ted Butler reports that Morgan Stanley has settled a federal lawsuit complaining that the firm charged storage fees for silver the firm falsely claimed to have purchased for clients. If you buy silver from a broker and have the broker store it for you but cannot get the broker to list the serial numbers of your bars, odds are that you don't have any silver at all, Butler says.
