James Turk: Gold closes August at nearly a record high

Don't look now, but GoldMoney founder James Turk, editor of the Freemarket Gold & Money Report and consultant to GATA, has gotten out his charts again and reports that gold finished August just off a record high -- the third-highest monthly closing price ever.
Further, Turk notes, this was accomplished in what is traditionally gold's weakest season.
Turk concludes: "Both the gold and silver charts remain bullish. Both precious metals are safe havens from problems with the dollar. Those problems are getting worse, making the precious metals the safest place to put your money."
