ROB-TV''s ''great gold debate'' yields only support for gold

Canada's ROB-TV billed it as quot;the great gold debate,quot;
and it WAS fascinating, but Dennis Gartman of The
Gartman Letter didn't seem to want to engage in much
disputation today with gold partisans John Embry of
Sprott Asset Management and the debate's surprise
guest, GATA Chairman Bill Murphy. Indeed, Gartman
cordially agreed with Embry and Murphy more than he
disagreed, and repeatedly remarked that he didn't
think many potential points of difference were worth
getting into -- perhaps because Gartman himself is
partial to gold right now.

The program is Wednesday's quot;Market Callquot; with Jim
O'Connell and it is listed in the 12:30 p.m. slot.

Canada is incredibly lucky to have ROB-TV and
O'Connell, for several times recently they have
allowed the gold price manipulation issue to be
discussed critically and thoughtfully before a
national audience -- and, thanks to ROB-TV's
wonderful Internet archive, before an international
audience too.

Meanwhile, the United States has only CNBC and the
manic blustering of Jim Cramer. Could O'Connell be
persuaded to head south for a while to give lessons?
