GATA officers allowed near world's largest gold coin

Section: Daily Dispatches

5p PT Monday, June 18, 2007

Dear Friend of GATA and Gold:

A sensation at the Vancouver Gold, PGM, and Diamond Investment Conference is the exhibit of the world's largest gold coin, the 100-kilogram, million-dollar-denomination maple leaf recently produced by the Royal Canadian Mint. GATA Chairman Bill Murphy and your secretary/treasurer were allowed near enough to it to be photographed with longtime GATA supporter Ken J. Reser, research and development consultant for GATA supporter Adanac Moly Corp., and you can see the photo here:

Reser is at the left of the coin and Murphy just to its right, with your secretary/treasurer on the far right. Not shown are the armed guards who would have chased us away if we hadn't left quickly after getting photographed.

CHRIS POWELL, Secretary/Treasurer
Gold Anti-Trust Action Committee Inc.
