Today seems to be one of the many days in the metals business when it's good to take the long view, and there may be no better way of doing that than by reading a new essay by Eric Sprott, founder of Sprott Asset Management in Toronto. It's called "The Era of China" and it reminds us that the developing world still has more growing to do than most of us in the West can imagine. That growth won't be accomplished with derivatives but with real stuff.
