Bernard von NotHaus, one of the founders of the independent Liberty Dollar silver currency in the United States, has written an essay protesting the recent attempt of the U.S. Mint to portray the Liberty Dollar as a form of counterfeiting after eight years of U.S. government statements acknowledging that the Liberty Dollar was simply a legal private means of exchange.
