As West's gold market manipulation weakens, technical analysis gains value

GATA has always disdained and avoided technical analysis of markets as manipulated as the gold and silver markets have been by bullion banks likely trading for the U.S. government.
But in recent months the gold and silver price charts produced by London metals trader Andrew Maguire and monetary metals market commenter Jesse Colombo, among others, have demonstrated predictive power, perhaps because the price suppression policy of Western central banks has been breaking down and Eastern governments and central banks (Russia's among them) seem to have been demanding delivery against whatever paper the West has been selling.

So market forces may be reasserting themselves with the monetary metals. Or maybe what's happening is just another manipulation by different powerful forces working in a different direction: upward.
