Physical purchases thwart gold price suppression, Maguire tells KWN

London metals trader Andrew Maguire today tells King World News that buying of physical gold is thwarting attempts to use paper gold to push the price back below $1,200. Maguire adds that Indian gold wholesalers have been postponing purchases in expectation of a reduction in import tariffs, and if the reduction is large enough, it could trigger a lot of buying.
