Though the ratio of paper gold claims to real metal ready for delivery on the New York Commodities Exchange has reached 180 to 1 and only 162,000 ounces are listed as ready for delivery, Dave Kranzler of Investment Research Dynamics figures that no one will attack the phenomenal short position for fear of retaliation by the U.S. government.
