Gold mines can't produce at current low prices, Maison Placements' Ing says

Mining analyst John Ing of Maison Placements in Toronto, interviewed by King World News, says that gold mine production is likely to diminish substantially with the current low prices. (Like most gold mining executives, he doesn't add that people who are willing to accept mere certificates in place of metal will not need any metal at all.) But, Ing adds, China and Russia are taking whatever metal the West is selling, and in recent years peak short positions on the futures markets like the current one have preceded dramatic price increases.
