Axel Merk: Greenspan admitted that Fed is not politically independent

Fund manager Axel Merk of Merk Investments today calls attention to a few comments made Saturday by former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan at the New Orleans Investment conference -- including acknowledgment that the Fed is not politically independent, as is often claimed, and his expectation that the price of gold will rise.
