Why, Hathaway asks, is gold market manipulation such a stretch?

Tocqueville Gold Fund manager John Hathaway, interviewed today by King World News, wonders why, with big banks caught manipulating interest rates and energy prices, it should be considered such a stretch to suggest that they might be manipulating the gold market as well. Hathaway adds that there are "many clues" pointing to intervention against the gold market. Still, Hathaway thinks the shorts are just about out of ammunition.
