Treasury Department Internet site responds to GATA''s clamor

Dear Friend of GATA and Gold:

Some of you may find it a bit incongruous, but the Gold
Anti-Trust Action Committee now accepts donations by
credit card through our Internet site.

The address is:

a href=http://www.gata.org/creditcard.htmlhttp://www.gata.org/creditcard.html/a

We're using a major Internet business services
provider with a secure server. Visa, MasterCard, and
Discover cards are accepted, and donations can be made
from most countries.

When you make a donation to GATA by credit card on
the Internet and enter your e-mail address, receipts are
sent immediately to you and to GATA by e-mail, so you
have a record of your donation and so GATA can send
you a letter of thanks.

Of course we'll continue to accept contributions by
check, bank wire, and E-gold. But credit card use on
the Internet has the advantage of speed. And we have
to meet the enemy in the world as it is.

Please remember that we're new at this. If you
encounter any problems with our credit card donation
mechanism, please write to me at GATAComm@aol.com.

So, friends, step right up and charge away. It's for
a good cause, and, after all, it's only fiat!

CHRIS POWELL, Secretary/Treasurer
